Energy ⚡️ and Food 🥬 For All

Real Power Independence, Built Right Here in Atlanta.

Headquartered & Hand-Assembled at 1345 Seaboard Industrial
Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA

At Earth Protection Society LLC, we believe keeping your lights on and your business running shouldn’t depend on an aging power grid or expensive electric bills. We design, wire, and build heavy-duty energy systems right in our Atlanta shop to solve everyday power problems for homes, job sites, and commercial facilities.

No gas fumes. No noisy engines. Just clean, silent, reliable power that rolls or sits right where you need it.

The 99-Year Ground Lease Model

The Land Trust holds 100% of the underlying real estate deed in perpetuity, permanently forbidding the sale or dilution of the soil.

The Zero-Trust Financial Engine

Equity is raised locally through SEC Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) and Reg A+ offerings.

The BeltLine Industrial Community Land Trust (CLT)

Industrial parcels along the Murphy Avenue corridor in Southwest Atlanta are acquired directly to protect them from corporate speculation and gentrification.

The Mobile Power Cart: Heavy-Duty Power On Wheels

  • The Problem It Solves: Gas generators are loud, require constant fuel runs, spew toxic carbon monoxide, and are strictly illegal to run indoors, inside warehouse bays, or in residential areas after hours. Standard battery booster boxes die within hours and can’t run serious equipment.
  • Our Solution: A heavy-duty, rolling steel power station on locking wheels. Roll it right into a warehouse suite, food truck, job site, or office. It runs your saws, heavy tools, computers, or packing equipment silently and cleanly. When it’s low, plug it into any standard wall outlet to recharge—or charge it on cheap overnight power.

The Mini Microgrid: Telecom Closets & Critical Office Circuits

  • The Problem It Solves: When the utility grid has a split-second flicker, your building might not even go dark, but your internet modem and main router drop out instantly. That causes a 5-to-10-minute reboot cycle, freezes credit card processing, interrupts phone calls, and halts warehouse shipping lines.
  • Our Solution: A compact, rolling 19-inch battery and inverter rack designed specifically for IT closets, offices, and small business suites. It switches over in less than 20 milliseconds—faster than a blink—so your modems, routers, and checkout computers never reboot or drop a single customer. It keeps you online for days during neighborhood blackouts.

The Full Microgrid: Homes & Commercial Buildings

  • The Problem It Solves: Skyrocketing peak electric rates and severe storm blackouts that shut down entire facilities or leave families without refrigeration, medical equipment, and security for days.
  • Our Solution: A stackable and dedicated behind-the-meter energy system that powers your essential circuits 24/7. It charges when electricity is cheapest, supplies your building when utility rates spike in the afternoon (slashing your power bill by up to 70%), and provides seamless, whole-facility backup the instant the main power lines fail outside soil.

Permanent Food SovereigntyGrow Once, Eat for DecadesZero Plowing. Zero Store-Bought Fertilizer. Zero Replanting.

Most people think growing food means buying bags of synthetic fertilizer every spring, tilling up dirt, planting seeds, and starting all over again from scratch every single year when plants die off in the winter.

We take a completely different approach using indoor greenhouse design and ancient soil science so families and communities can have fresh food 365 days a year without the constant work and expense.

Food That Never Runs Out

How the System Works

We combine indoor greenhouses and traditional soil wisdom to grow fresh food year-round with less effort and cost.

Terra Preta Living Soil

Never Buy Fertilizer Again

  • We build Amazonian-style “Terra Preta” (dark earth) soil. By combining charcoal-based biochar with natural microbes and organic matter, the soil acts like an endless battery for nutrients.
  • It never washes out, it locks in moisture so you barely have to water, and it feeds the roots naturally year after year without chemical sprays or expensive store-bought plant food.

Perennial Plants

Plant Once, Harvest for Years

  • Instead of weak annual vegetables that die at the end of the season, we focus on hardy perennials—deep-rooted edible plants, herbs, and greens that keep living and producing harvest after harvest.
  • Once they are in the ground, their roots dig deep into the living soil, giving you an abundant food source that never has to be bought or replanted.

Year-Round

Greenhouse Protection

  • By putting this living soil inside a protected greenhouse environment, the plants never freeze, get washed away by torrential rains, or dry out in summer heat waves.
  • You get true food security: clean, dense nutrition growing right on-site, completely insulated from grocery store shortages and supply chain breakdowns.

Join the Build.

Build the sovereign power layer with your own hands.

We build battery-backed energy systems that cut peak rates, stop outages, and keep the money on the block. We are hiring locally for battery and solar technicians, site evaluators, data-center energy engineers, and partnership leads. Customer-funded. No outside investors. Every plant owned by the block.

Q

Open Roles

Why work here

A paycheck and a neighborhood asset.

Most energy jobs ship the value out of town — to remote utilities, venture-backed startups, or leasing companies. At EPS the plant is owned by the site and the block that built it. The technician who commissions it is the same person who services it. The money stays local, the skills stay local, and the resilience stays local.

  • Customer-funded, no outside capital

Every project is paid for by the client, not a venture fund. No growth-at-all-costs pressure.

  • Community ownership

Land and equipment sit in a neighborhood-held entity. You are building an asset your own block owns.

  • Certified local technician corps

We train and certify locally. Your career ladder is built here, not imported.
